The pinnacle of the V&V 80km route will be Skaapkop, roughly 10 km from the end. This gives riders a panoramic view of the valley, with the Olifants River traversing lush vineyards. Take a moment, breath some fresh air and capture selfies…..!

The 30km Route
The 30km route ticks all the boxes of a fun ride. It starts at the lovely Idma@Kapel function venue, on the banks of the Oliphant’s River. Here riders can enjoy a lovely breakfast or brew before a relaxing bike ride with friends along the river bank and beautiful vineyards. Riders will also experience the stunning view atop Skaapkop hill, before descending towards Teubes Family Wines. As with the long route, riders will be treated at the end with a ride through one of South Africa’s largest wine cellars, Namaqua Wines.
The Elusive Aardwolf
One of Africa’s most elusive animals, the Aardwolf. One of the wildlife sightings riders may experience on the long route. This new event promises to offer quite a unique riding experience.
